Here are typical estimated prices for various setup and adjustments. Prices will vary according to the model and condition. More accurate quotes can be given once your instrument has been inspected. MINOR SETUP AND ADJUSTMENT...
Why should you let your guitar dictate how good your playing technique and sound is? Most instruments can be improved with a little attention to detail, after which you will be able to get the best playing action and tone.
Included in this set up are the following adjustments:
*intonation
*action height
*pick-up and pole piece height
*fingerboard nut (action and lubrication)
*truss rod adjustment
*frets cleaned and polished
*Check electrics, soldering and clean pots
The strings will be replaced and the guitar set up to your preference.

MAJOR SETUP AND ADJUSTMENT...
If you can't get your action down because of fret buzz etc. your guitar probably needs a fret dress. The major set up includes all features of the minor set up, plus a full fret dress and fret reshaping to allow maximum playing comfort and the lowest possible playing action.

TREMOLO PROBLEMS...
Locking tremolos are fast becoming the bane of most guitarists lives. If yours will not stay in tune we will sort it out so that it DOES! The system will be stripped down and examined, including the locking nut, faulty parts replaced, reassembled and the action, intonation and truss rod set.

ACOUSTIC GUITAR SET UP...
Many acoustic guitars suffer from high playing actions. We will lower it, dress any high frets and adjust the rod and fingerboard nut to allow maximum playing comfort. Intonation will be assessed and if necessary the bridge saddle can be moved to correct any problems.

CUSTOMISING...
We can do everything from fitting new machine heads, pick-ups, installing tremolo units, fingerboard nuts, active circuits, rewiring, new switches and pots etc.

REPAIRS...
All types of repairs and restoration can be undertaken. For example, if your guitar has a broken neck, it can be repaired and refinished to save the cost of a new neck! other typical problems that we deal with on an almost daily basis are things such as lifting fingerboards, cracks and breaks in guitar bodies, warped tables and lifting bridges on acoustic guitars and faulty pickups and electrics - irrespective of instrument type or age. We can even arrange for broken pickups to be rewound for you to any specification!

REFRETS...
We can refret your guitar with the fretwire of your choice and set the instrument up to play with the best possible playing action.
